KURT BESTOR & DAVID LANZ at the COVEY






Two world-class pianists together for rare, dual concert at the Covey

(Provo, UT) As part of the Mayor Series for the Arts, the Provo Covey Center is hosting two world-class musicians in a rare dual-performance; Kurt Bestor & David Lanz in concert. Performances are March 2 and 3 at 7:30 p.m.

Kurt Bestor is an Emmy-award-winning composer, who for over 20 years has composed an incredible variety of music in a myriad of styles and genres. From over 40 feature-length films, 16 popular CDs, numerous television themes, and mix of live shows, he has established himself as one of America's most prolific and versatile composers. Bestor has also performed internationally, conducting and performing with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir, the Estonian National Orchestra, among others.

Grammy-nominated pianist David Lanz has enthralled music lovers around the world for decades with his engaging playing style and original compositions. Lanz, who was nominated for a Grammy in 2000, is well known as a top instrumental recording and concert artist, reaching worldwide prominence with his number one Billboard hit, Cristofori’s Dream.

Tickets are $30 - $40 and are available for purchase online at http://www.coveycenter.org/ or through our box office, located at 425 West Center Street, downtown Provo.
